Real shop-floor feedback, straight from the field: a technician logs a discrepancy, gets pulled to a higher-priority aircraft mid-job, and has no way to save their progress without either signing off on work that isn't actually finished yet, or losing everything they typed. Both are bad options — so we fixed it.
You can now save your work without signing it. On any WIP step, both the Discrepancy and the Corrective Action get their own SAVE (SIGN LATER) option:
You can also start a brand new WIP step at any time, even while an earlier one is still open — you're never blocked from moving on to the next thing.
This matches how signatures have always worked in AeroCoreMX: a signature attests to real, completed work, per 14 CFR 43.9 — so now the software gets out of your way until you're actually ready to attest to something.
